Letter Boxed Unlimited

Link words to use every frame letter.

Four-sided word frame

Consecutive letters must come from different sides.

What is Letter Boxed Unlimited?

Twelve letters sit on four sides of a frame. Make a chain of words that uses every letter at least once. You can reuse letters across and within words, but consecutive letters in one word must come from different sides. Each new word begins with the final letter of the word before it.

How to play

  1. Read the three letters on each side.
  2. Type a word of at least three letters using the frame. Adjacent letters in the word must come from different sides.
  3. Submit the word, then start the next word with its final letter.
  4. Continue until all twelve letters have appeared in your chain.

Strategy

First look for words that cover several rare letters. A long word is helpful only if its final letter gives you a useful next start. Keep track of which sides still have unused letters. Undo word lets you try a new branch without resetting the whole puzzle.

Letter Boxed solver

The solver below searches the accepted word list for linked chains of up to four words that cover all twelve letters. Every displayed solution is checked against the same side and chaining rules as the game. The list is curated for familiar words, so it is narrower than a full dictionary.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I use a letter twice?

Yes, as long as two consecutive letters do not come from the same side. A word can return to a side after using a letter from another side.

How many words do I need?

Any valid chain that covers all twelve letters wins. The included puzzles have checked three-word solutions; the solver also searches for shorter and other four-word chains.

Can I start a new puzzle?
