Text Twist
Make words before the clock runs out.
What is Text Twist?
Text Twist is an anagram game. Rearrange six or seven rack letters into words of at least three letters. Each tile may be used once in a word. This version gives you two minutes per round and asks for a full-length word before you can move to the next rack.
How to play
- Choose a six- or seven-letter rack.
- Tap letters or type a word. Each tile can appear only as many times as it appears in the rack.
- Press Enter to submit an accepted word. Found words are grouped by length.
- Find one word using every letter to unlock Next round.
Timer and scoring
The clock starts at two minutes. Each unique accepted word gives one point per letter. A six-letter word scores six points, while a seven-letter word scores seven. Finding the full-length word unlocks the next round immediately; you can keep searching until the timer ends. Restart round resets the same letters and clock.
Strategy
Look for common three-letter words first, then build longer forms from them. Try common endings such as -ER, -ED, and -S when those letters appear. Shuffle the rack to spot combinations you missed. For the full-length word, count repeated letters carefully; a guessed word cannot use a tile twice unless the rack has two copies.
Frequently asked questions
Can I enter the same word twice?
No. Each accepted word earns points once per round.
What happens when time runs out?
The round ends. If you found a full-length word, Next round remains available. Otherwise Restart round lets you retry the same rack.
Are all dictionary words accepted?
No. Each round uses a curated answer list. A word can be valid in another game but absent here.
